Pentacles are the tarot suit of earth — money, work, the body, and everything you can build and hold. Also called Coins or Disks in some decks, they ground a reading in practical, material life.
From the Ace of Pentacles (a tangible new opportunity) the suit moves through effort, skill, security, and generosity to the settled Ten of legacy and home. Pentacles reversed often point to money worries, insecurity, or work that has become all-consuming or joyless.
