Yes or No Tarot

A simple, honest way to pull a yes-or-no tarot answer from a single card — with the cards that lean clearly one way or the other.

Sometimes you just want a direction. A yes/no reading uses a single card for a single, clearly-worded question — and the trick is in the wording: ask something specific enough that a yes or a no would actually mean something.

There are two common ways to read the answer. The simplest is orientation: an upright card leans yes, a reversed card leans no. The richer way is to read the card's spirit — bright, active, opening cards (The Sun, the Aces) are a yes; blocking, halting, heavy cards (The Tower, Ten of Swords) are a no; balanced cards (Two of Swords, Justice) ask you to look closer before deciding.

Pull one card, read both its orientation and its mood, and let the two together give you a yes, a no, or an honest “not yet.”
