Reversed, the defense wears thin. Exhaustion erodes your resolve, you feel outnumbered, or you're tempted to give up a position you've every right to keep. Constant defending has left you depleted and unsure it's worth it.

Sometimes the wiser move is to choose your battles — to stop defending what no longer matters and conserve your fire for what does. Rest, reassess which ground is actually yours, and stand only where standing counts.
